Welcome to YEEZY MEDIA (https://www.yeezy.media). By accessing our website, creating an account, or uploading media, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use this website.

Important legal disclaimer: non-affiliation. YEEZY MEDIA is an independent media-sharing platform operated as a sole trader initiative in Scotland. YEEZY MEDIA is not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with YYZ LLC, YEEZY LLC, Kanye West, or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates. The official Yeezy brands can be found elsewhere. The use of the name "Yeezy" on this platform is entirely independent and for creative/informational identity purposes only.

1. Age Restrictions & Accounts

Minimum age: you must be at least 13 years old to create an account on YEEZY MEDIA.
Mature content notice: this platform hosts user-generated audio and media that may contain explicit lyrics, swearing, or mature language. If you are between 13 and 17 years old, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use this platform.
Account security: you are entirely responsible for safeguarding your password and account credentials.

2. Access and Account Privileges

Unregistered guests may view public videos and photos on the website but are strictly prohibited from downloading them.
Unregistered guests cannot access or listen to audio tracks. To stream audio, download media, or toggle advanced features, you must register a free account.

3. User-Generated Content & Ownership

Ownership: you retain 100% ownership of any video, photo, or audio file (including MP3, WAV, FLAC, etc.) that you upload to YEEZY MEDIA.
Platform license: by uploading content, you grant YEEZY MEDIA a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, encode, stream, and display your media solely for the purpose of operating the website.
Liability: YEEZY MEDIA acts as a neutral host. We do not preview uploads and accept zero responsibility or legal liability for any user-generated content published on the site. You upload media entirely at your own risk.

4. Visibility and Modifications

By default, all uploaded content is published as Public.
Users can modify their uploads at any time to make them Hidden. Hidden content is restricted from public view and is only accessible to the uploader, platform moderators, and anyone with whom the direct link is shared.

5. Account Deletion

Users have the right to delete their accounts at any time. Clicking "Delete Account" triggers an immediate, permanent, and non-recoverable wipe of all your profile data and uploaded media from our systems.

6. Future Monetization & Changes

YEEZY MEDIA is currently free to use. We reserve the right to introduce premium subscription models, storage caps, or monetization strategies in the future to offset underlying infrastructure fees (such as server storage costs).

7. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the strict rules for uploading video, audio, and images to YEEZY MEDIA.

1. Prohibited Content

You are strictly banned from uploading, sharing, or linking to media that contains:

NSFW & adult content: any form of pornography, explicit sexual imagery, or nudity.
Copyrighted material: media that you do not own the rights to or lack a valid license to share.
Targeted harassment & harm: content designed to bully, stalk, threaten, abuse, or deliberately cause psychological or physical harm to a specific individual.
Illegal & dangerous material: Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), non-consensual deepfakes, violent extremism, terrorism, or content promoting severe self-harm.

2. Explicit Language & Creative Freedom

We support artistic expression. Media containing strong language, explicit lyrics, slurs, or mature themes within music tracks, podcasts, or art projects is allowed, provided it does not violate Section 1 (i.e., it is not being deployed as a targeted weapon to harass or harm a specific user).

3. Enforcement and the "Ultimate Delete" Right

Reporting: any user can flag a post at any time for any reason.
Moderation workflow: all media goes live instantly. Content flagged by the community or detected by our safety filters will be reviewed by human moderators.
Consequences: minor or accidental violations will result in the immediate removal of the offending media. Repeat violations or severe infractions (such as uploading NSFW or hate targets) will result in a permanent and immediate account ban without warning.
Our discretion: YEEZY MEDIA reserves the absolute right to remove any content or terminate any account at our sole discretion, without explanation.

Privacy Policy

YEEZY MEDIA is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we handle it in compliance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Data We Collect

When you interact with our platform, we collect the following information:

Account registration: email address, username, age, and password (encrypted).
Optional data: Discord handle and custom profile pictures.
Usage logs: to securely manage your streaming and keep our site stable, our database logs certain actions, such as which tracks you stream, your upload history, and your operational interactions on the site.
Technical logs: your IP address and basic device information are automatically handled by our infrastructure providers to prevent malicious attacks (such as DDoS attacks or automated spam bots).

2. Third-Party Service Providers

We do not sell your personal data. We utilize trusted infrastructure partners to host and secure our infrastructure:

Cloudflare: used for secure web hosting, content delivery (CDN), and protection against web threats.
Supabase: used as our secure cloud backend database to hold account profiles and media metadata.

If you choose to sign in with a third-party provider such as Google, we receive the basic profile information (name, email, profile picture) that provider shares with us to create your account.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data belongs to you. If you choose to close your account by clicking the "Delete" button inside your settings, your action will trigger an immediate, non-recoverable wipe of your email, username, logs, and uploads from our database.

4. Your Rights

Under UK data protection laws, you have the right to access the data we hold on you, request corrections, or object to data logging. If you have questions regarding your data, contact us at legal@yeezy.media.

Cookie Policy

YEEZY MEDIA uses basic, functional cookies to keep the website working correctly.

What Cookies We Use

Authentication cookies: when you sign up or log in, we drop a small security cookie into your browser. This cookie simply remembers who you are so you don't have to re-enter your password every single time you click a link or attempt to upload a file.
Security & infrastructure cookies: our infrastructure provider, Cloudflare, drops technical cookies to identify safe web traffic, prevent malicious bots, and speed up media streaming.

No Ad Trackers

We do not use advertising tracking cookies or cross-site pixels. Because the cookies we drop are classified as "Strictly Necessary" for our website to execute basic commands, we do not deploy a cookie consent banner. You can disable cookies inside your browser settings, but doing so will break your ability to log in or upload files.

Copyright & Takedown Policy

YEEZY MEDIA operates as an automated web hosting service for user-generated content. We cannot verify the legal ownership of every media file uploaded to our platform. However, we take intellectual property rights very seriously.

Notice and Takedown Procedure

If you are a copyright owner and find your video, audio, or image published on YEEZY MEDIA without authorization, please use one of our two official removal channels:

The Flag button (fastest): click the "Flag" button directly underneath the infringing piece of media. This flags the file for our moderation team to evaluate and drop immediately.
Email notice: email our legal department at legal@yeezy.media. Your email must include a link to the infringing material and clear confirmation that you own the rights to the intellectual property.

Temporary Takedowns

Upon receiving a valid copyright notice, we will temporarily pull the content down. We will notify the uploader of the claim. If the uploader can prove they possess a valid creative license or that the media falls under legal exceptions (such as fair dealing or critique), we will review the dispute before making a final determination.

Accessibility Statement

YEEZY MEDIA wants our web navigation to be usable for as many people as possible.

Our Commitment

We design our website framework, button menus, navigation bars, and upload forms to work with basic keyboard commands and standard screen-reading software.

Third-Party Content Limitations

Please note that YEEZY MEDIA hosts user-generated content. Because users upload their own videos, audio files, and images independently, we cannot guarantee that third-party media will have closed captions, text transcripts, or alternative image descriptions. We provide optional text description fields inside our uploader forms and strongly encourage all creators to fill them out out of courtesy.

Feedback

If you encounter a systemic bug in our layout that prevents you from using assistive technology on the platform, please notify us at legal@yeezy.media, and we will do our best to deploy a code update.
